Snow Day

It has finally come!
The cotton like whiteness,
covers the ground.

The sound of children laughing,
and playing fills the air.
Inside i can feel the
warm fires heat beaming on me,
like sun rays.

Snowballs are flying,
Snowmen are dancing in the snow,
The coldness surrounds me,
Winter.
