The veteran i am  going to type about today is my Dad.He has been in the Army for 15 years he started when he was 19.he only has 6 more to go until he retires.He’s a medic in the fields and when they fight in the wars too so he has a important job and he has to do it in a certain amount of time.because when some body gets hurt he has to take off all the armor that their wearing  but it’s kinda easy to get some of it off,because the new vest that they have has a  string on the front so when they get hurt you can just pull the string and the whole vest falls apart but then he has to put it all back together and that can take up  to three hours!so he doesn’t want to do that put he also doesn’t want his paitent to die but he dose it anyways.but one time they were in war and some body acsidently pulled the string and the whole vest fell apart and he got killed  because it was too late by the time he had got there to save him.he has done a lot for our country and he is proud of all that he has done.

Harsh conditions

If  I  got to chose a colony I would chose Plymouth,because it sounded like there colony  had A better life.It said that most of the colonist in james town died from diesies and i would not want to die when i was only trying to look for a new place to live.So if I chose a colony  I would chose Plymouth.

Henry Hudson set off  from the Netherlands  with a crew of 20.They sailed on a ship called the ‘Half Moon’.They traveld north and the weather got very cold.He abandond the  search turned the ship around and sailed toward america.They sailed down the coast of america they set up traiding post along a river woch they later named the hudson river the3y began to sail later again,but hudsonn took them the wrong way so they put him in a sail boat with no oars and left him on the bay and never heard from him again. I think that when they got mad a put him on that boat and left him there with no oars that he might of died of starvation because he would have no way to get to any food,if they just left him there.so he probaly  just died of starvation.and they had never heard from him again because of that.
